About This Product
Who hasn’t failed in serving the Lord through fear? You will find a great reminder of the faithfulness of God as He strengthened Brother Andrew in his work to bring Bibles into closed communist lands.
Whole-hearted devotion is in short supply but not where God is at work.Brother Andrew filled his tiny home and entire life with serving persecuted believers cut off from having a Bible in their hands. I read the book God’s Smuggler about a year ago and was reminded again of how important it is to be obedient to God in everything. How easy to let self-preservation sneak in without noticing it.
I recently purchased the cassette version of this classic tale. I’m eagerly looking forward to listening to it along with my son on our family trip. He’s never heard the story and will undoubtedly sit transfixed (as he does for all good stories) when Brother Andrew approaches the border with a carload of Bibles or passes them to a Russian contact in sight of the Kremlin. Then we can talk about the important lessons of letting the Lord lead and not man.
I’ve only listened to a sample so far, but the reader had a clear British accent and read with excellent expression in his voice. This is thoroughly professional recording.
