Can there be better New Year wish, my friend,
Than this of mine?
That thou mayest know my blessed Savior-Lord,
And know Him thine.
Remember how upon the bitter cross
He bore thy sin.
That now He may to Heaven's holy realm
Invite thee in.
Trust Him as Savior, and thy every sin
Is now forgiven;
Trust Him as Lord, and heart and life will be
Made meet for Heaven.
