(hasten). Tree resembles the peach in form, height, blossom, and fruit. Covering of fruit downy and succulent. Chiefly valuable for its nut (Gen. 43:11; Ex. 25:33-34; 37:19-20; Num. 17:8; Eccl. 12:5; Jer. 1:11).
