(Nehemiah 3:19) the word is nesheq, also translated “armor.” In Song of Solomon 4:44Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armory, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men. (Song of Solomon 4:4) it is talpiyyoth, “armory” or heap of swords. In Jeremiah 50:2525The Lord hath opened his armory, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. (Jeremiah 50:25) it is otsar, signifying “treasury.”
