The God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Heb. 13:20‑21)
Preserve Thy flock most graciously, Within Thy sheltering fold; Move them from every harm away, And in Thy safeguard hold; Till Thou shalt fully have obtained In us the fruits of grace, And we, in joys that never end, Shall see Thee face to face.
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. (Psa. 36:8)
Unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Eph. 3:20‑21)
How good is the God we adore, Our faithful, unchangeable Friend, Whose love is as great as His power, And knows neither measure nor end.
’Tis Jesus, the First and the Last, Whose Spirit shall guide us safe home; We’ll praise Him for all that is past, And trust Him for all that’s to come.
It was not an enemy that reproached Me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated Me that did magnify himself against Me; then I would have hid Myself from him: but it was thou, a man Mine equal, My guide, and Mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. (Psa. 55:12‑14)
Behold, the hand of him that betrayeth Me is with Me on the table. (Luke 22:21)
He that dippeth his hand with Me in the dish, the same shall betray Me. (Matt. 26:23)
O God whose wondrous name is love, Whose grace has fashioned us anew, Before Thy face now stands the Lamb, Whom sinful man once pierced and slew.
Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. (Isa. 9:6‑7)
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, He who one dark day Golgotha’s road trod; His name shall be Wonderful — Jesus, God’s Son! God’s Word has promised, and it shall be done! From ocean to ocean His name shall be heard, Wonderful name of our wonderful Lord!
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces. (Isa. 25:8)
The Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Rev. 7:17)
There Christ has our dwelling-place won, And we in His glory shall be With Him everlastingly one; His glory and bliss we shall see; All tears shall have passed from our eyes, When Him we behold in the cloud, And taste the full joy of the skies, The love of our Father and God.
