That where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:3)
“A little while” — He’ll come again;
Let us the precious hours redeem;
Our only grief to give Him pain,
Our joy to serve and follow Him;
Watching and ready may we be,
As those that wait their Lord to see.

Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. And He took them up in His arms. (Mark 10:14,16)
I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. (Deut. 29:5)
Even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. (Isa. 46:4)
God His own does tend and nourish;
In His holy courts they flourish;
Like a father kind He spares them;
In His loving arms He bears them.
Neither life nor death can ever
From the Lord His children sever;
We may trust His purpose wholly —
’Tis His children’s welfare solely.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ. (2 Cor. 5:20)
Thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place. (2 Cor. 2:14)
’Tis a wonderful story, that gospel of love,
   As it shines in the Christ-life divine,
And oh, that its truth might be told again
   In the story of your life and mine!
Unselfish mirrors in every scene,
   Love blossoms on every sod,
The heart overflowing — its need to tell —
   The wonderful goodness of God.

I will remember the works of the Lord. (Psa. 77:11)
Our sins were laid on His sacred
   head;
The curse by our Lord was borne;
For us a victim our Saviour bled,
And endured that death of scorn;
Himself He gave our poor hearts to
   win —
(Was ever love, Lord, like Thine!)
From the paths of folly and shame
   and sin,
And fill them with joys divine.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation. (Isa. 12:2)
Happy they who trust in Jesus;
   Sweet their portion is and sure;
When the foe on others seizes,
   He will keep His own secure.
Lo! our Saviour never slumbers;
   Ever watchful is His care;
Though we cannot boast of numbers,
   In His strength secure we are.

No form of human framing,
   No bond of outward might,
Can bind Thy church together, Lord,
   And all her flocks unite;
But, Jesus, Thou hast told us
   How unity must be:
Thou art with God the Father one,
   And we are one in Thee.

You may search the depths of the deepest
      sea:
   My sins are remembered no more;
At the judgment throne of eternity,
   My sins are remembered no more.
They’re forgiven, forgotten, and buried
      and gone;
   My sins are remembered no more;
They’re atoned for and covered by God’s
      dear Son;
   My sins are remembered no more.

Whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as He that serveth. (Luke 22:27)
Ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that He shall gird Himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. (Luke 12:36‑37)
When the Father’s house resoundeth
   With the music and the song;
When the bride in glorious raiment
   Sees the One who loved so long;
Then for new and blessed service
   Girt afresh will He appear,
Stand and serve before His angels
   Those who waited for Him here.

   loud;
He with His church has always stood:
His loving-kindness, oh how good!
