Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ. (Eph. 6:5)
Ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with Him. (Eph. 6:9)
All my will is yielded to Him,
   And His Spirit reigns within;
And His precious blood each moment
   Keeps me cleansed and free from sin.
For my words, I take His wisdom;
   For my work, His Spirit’s power,
For my ways, His ceaseless presence
   Guides and guards me every hour.

Scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom. 5:7‑8)
God could not pass the sinner by;
His sin demands that he must die;
But in the cross of Christ we see
How God can save, yet righteous be.
The sinner who believes is free,
Can say, “The Saviour died for me”:
Can point to the atoning blood, 
And say, “This made my peace with God.”

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption: it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power: it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (1 Cor. 15:42‑44)
We that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. (2 Cor. 5:4)
Our earthen vessels break;
   The world itself grows old;
But Christ our precious dust will take
   And freshly mold:
He’ll give these bodies vile
   A fashion like His own;
He’ll bid the whole creation smile,
   And hush its groan.

Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of His power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. (Eph. 3:7‑9)
But I tell you I have seen Him,
   God’s beloved Son,
From His lips have learned the mystery
   He and His are one.
There, as knit into the body
   Every joint and limb,
We, His ransomed, His beloved,
   We are one with Him.

God is my strength and power; and He maketh my way perfect. (2 Sam. 22:33)
Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. (Psa. 147:5)
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness. (Psa. 150:1‑2)
Guide us, oh Thou gracious Saviour,
Pilgrims through this barren land;
We are weak, but Thou art mighty;
Hold us with Thy powerful hand;
      Bread of heaven!
Feed us now and evermore.

His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the PASSOVER. (Luke 2:41)
The Jews’ PASSOVER was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. (John 2:13)
The PASSOVER, a feast of the Jews, was nigh. (John 6:4)
The Jews’ PASSOVER was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves. (John 11:55)
He sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the PASSOVER, that we may eat. (Luke 22:8)
It was the preparation of the PASSOVER, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! (John 19:14)
Even Christ our PASSOVER is sacrificed for us. (1 Cor. 5:7)

Is Ephraim My dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore My bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord. (Jer. 31:20)
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely. (Hos. 14:4)
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right. (Hos. 14:9)
Earth’s broken cisterns — ah! they all have proved
Unsatisfying — vain — however loved;
The false will fail — the fondest, they must go!
Oh thus it is with all we love below —
Washed in Thy blood, from all my guilt made clean,
In Thee, my righteousness, alone I’m seen.

Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? (Isa. 58:6‑7)
He said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself. (Luke 9:23)
Round me souls are dying,
Deep in darkness lying;
Thou didst love them unto death;
   Oh give Thy love to me.
Grant that I may reach them;
Grant that I may teach them,
Loving them as Thou dost love;
   Oh give Thy love to me.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
For soon the Lord is coming,
And they shall hear no more;
For when the Master rises,
He then will shut the door.
So warn the lost who perish;
To Christ they must repent;
Wait not until tomorrow —
’Tis now that you are sent.

This word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire. (Heb. 12:27‑29)
May grace, free grace, inspire
   Our souls with strength divine;
May every thought to God aspire,
   And grace in service shine.
Grace all the work shall crown
   Through everlasting days;
It lays in heaven the topmost stone,
   And well deserves the praise.
