6,6,4,6,6,6,4.

"Glory to God on high!

Peace upon earth and joy,

Good will to man."

We who God’s blessing prove

His name all names above,

Sing now the Savior’s love,

Too vast to scan.
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke 2:14)
“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 1:20)
“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” (John 15:9)
“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Ephesians 3:19)
2
Mercy and truth unite,

Oh! ’tis a wondrous sight,

All sights above!

Jesus the curse sustains!

Guilt’s bitter cup He drains!

Nothing for us remains —

Nothing but love.
“Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.” (Psalm 85:10)
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” (Galatians 3:13)
“Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?” (John 18:11)
“Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.” (John 13:1)

Love that no tongue can teach,

Love that no thought can reach,

No love like His.

God is its blessèd source,

Death ne’er can stop its course,

Nothing can stay its force;

Matchless it is.
“May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Ephesians 3:18-19)
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” (1 John 4:7)
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come.” (Romans 8:38)
“Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.” (Song of Solomon 8:6)
4
Blest in this love, we sing;

To God our praises bring;

All sins forgiven.

Jesus, our Lord, to Thee

Honor and majesty,

Now and forever be,

Here and in heaven.
“I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” (Psalm 104:33)
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:14)
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36)
“Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.” (Psalm 96:6)
“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” (Revelation 5:12-13)
