Lots of us worry about the color of our skin, whether or not we wear the right kind of shoes or whether our nose is too big. In what really matters, the Bible says, “There is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:22-23). No matter how young we are, we’ve disobeyed God and demanded our own way instead of His. God calls that sin and tells us to believe on His Son Jesus as the only One who can take away sin. The only difference between us that will really matter forever is whether or not we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).
