(Isaiah 53:5). A young girl was repeating that verse to her teacher one Sunday afternoon when she burst into tears and said, “I see it all now. Jesus was wounded for my transgressions, He was pushed for my sins. I never understood it before; Jesus is my Saviour.”
And there is no rest, no peace, no salvation for any sinner until he or she is able by faith to say, “Jesus was punished for my sins. He loved me, and gave Himself for me.”
