95. I Have a Glorious Savior
7.6.8.6.8.6.8.6.
1
I have a glorious Savior,
My sins He bare, and suffered there
And my salvation now is sure
Since Christ the work has done,
For God displays, in righteousness,
2
’Twas God who sent this Savior,
This spotless Lamb, who died;
And trusting in His precious blood
Ah! not for me by deeds of law
Of grace alone, through righteousness,
3
Oh! Jesus is my Savior;
"The Mighty God!" His name;
To seek and save the lost and vile
In all His great atoning work
And God delights in righteousness
4
He is the risen Savior,
He loves to ease the burdened heart
Of each whose sins He bore.
Believe — and God’s salvation sure
In manifested righteousness
