Last Time or Days

This was spoken of by the apostle John as then existing. There were many antichrists, whereby it was known that the last time (literally hour) had commenced (1 John 2:1818Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (1 John 2:18)). Apostasy from apostolic doctrine was a sign of the last time (it was not exactly the “last days,” as in 2 Timothy). No further revelation had to be made, and if this doctrine was refused, nothing but judgment could be the result; (Compare 2 Tim. 3:11This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
