Oh, how sweet the gospel message,
 
Rich and boundless, full and free;
 
Sinner, wilt thou pause and listen?
 
Jesus died, and died for thee.

Say not, ’tis to other sinners — 
 
Those more worthy of His call — 
 
But receive the truth with gladness,
 
Jesus died, and died for all.

Wilt thou rob Him of His purchase
 
When He bought thee with His blood?
 
He is praying, He is pleading,
 
Be ye reconciled to God.
4
Now no barrier to hinder,
 
Jesus has removed it all;
 
God can in His Son receive thee — 
 
Answer then His loving call.
5
Let thy soul delight the Savior
 
By submitting to His love;
 
And in everlasting favor,
 
Thou shalt dwell with Him above.
