60. Our Thanks to God Most High

6,6,6,6,8,8.
by Watts
1
Our thanks to God most high!

The Father of our Lord,

The Saviour-God is He,

And be His name adored!

O God, Thy mercy shall endure,

Thy Word abide forever sure.
Ephesians 1:3; Matthew 1:21,23; Psalm 136; 1 Peter 1:24-25
2
He sent His only Son

And saved us from our woe—

From Satan, guilt and hell,

And every hurtful foe.

Thy mercy, Lord, shall still endure,

Thy Word abide forever sure.
Galatians 4:4; Colossians 2:15; Hebrews 2:14; Mark 13:31
3
Give thanks aloud to God,

To God your praises bring,

To God upon His throne

His works and glories sing.

His power and grace are still the same,

Let endless praise exalt His name.
