The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: He is their strength in the time of trouble.
Yesterday we considered the fact that there is no real peace to those who are not saved. Our verse today reminds us of the strength that the Lord has and its sufficiency for our every need. Even when there is trouble, the Christian can rest on the strength of the Lord and be in peace. Often we are not - but the resource is there. It’s just our mistrust that stops us enjoying full peace even in the time of trouble.
