" Oh Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me... Thou winnowest my path [marg.] and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways."... God is not forming a people for their own, but "for His praise." He is showing them what they are in themselves, in order to show them by His Spirit the blessed suitability of Christ to all their need.
