79. Shall We Gather at His Coming |
|
|
| | |
|
| 1 | Shall we gather at His coming, |
| When the dead in Christ arise? |
| Shall we hear the Saviour call us |
| To His home beyond the skies? |
|
| Yes, we'll gather at His coming— |
| His glorious, His glorious coming, |
| Gather with His saints at His coming, |
| If cleansed by the Saviour's blood. |
|
| 2 | Daily nearer draws His coming; |
| This makes all His own rejoice; |
| Who are they that fear to meet Him? |
| Those who now love not His voice. |
|
| 3 | When the Saviour at His coming |
| Shall His own in glory bring, |
| Will you be among the number? |
| Will you too His praises sing? |
|
| 4 | Now before the Saviour's coming, |
| Seek His pardon free to know; |
| Be your stains of sin as scarlet, |
| He will make you white as snow. |
