Sirah

A well near Hebron, from which Abner was recalled by Joab (2 Sam. 3:2626And when Joab was come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, which brought him again from the well of Sirah: but David knew it not. (2 Samuel 3:26)). There is a spring and reservoir near the ancient road which Abner would naturally have taken, called Ain Sareh, about a mile from Hebron.
