The Glorious Name of Jesus

How glorious is Thy name
Through all the ransom’d host,
O WORTHY LAMB, who came
To seek and save the lost!
Thou art, beyond compare,
Most precious in cur sight;
Than sons of men most fair,
And infinite in might.
Thy perfect work divine
Makes us forever blest;
Here truth and mercy shine,
And men with God do rest,
Thy ways are far above
The ways of men, O God!
Above their thoughts Thy love,
In saving by Thy blood.
Let us count all but loss,
That Jesus we may win;
And, glorying in His cross,
Forsake the world and sin.
In Him let us rejoice;
Salvation He hath wrought;
Be His commands our choice,
For with His blood we’re bought.
