I have read of the Saviour’s love,
And what a wonderful love it must be;
But did He come down from heaven above,
Out of love and compassion for me?
I’ve been told of a heaven on high,
Which the children of God soon will see;
But is there a place in the sky
Made ready and furnished for me?
O, yes! for His love is as wide,
And deep as the fathomless sea;
And love such as this will provide
Even blessings eternal for me!
