“A brazen serpent high was raised,
Salvation to procure.
The wounded looked, the living praised,
The dying found a cure.
“See Jesus, crucified and slain:
Behold Him raised on high;
One look will save from endless pain
O look, and never die!”
Jesus said:
“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:14, 1514And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
