1PE 3:3-4³Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; ⁴But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. A man bought a picture at a rummage sale for $5.00 because he liked the frame and wanted to use it. When he removed the picture, underneath was an original copy of the Declaration of Independence, worth 1 million dollars! Sometimes we cover up the beauty of Christ with a poor exterior. Does my life show that Jesus lives in me?
