The Mission Field

“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good” (Ecclesiastes 11:6).

Open your door, there is a mission field,

The Master calls you, to His call then yield:

There is a work for each of us to share,

A service and a burden each can bear.

Some travel far, and some from home just walk!

Around the world, or just around the block;

Where He has placed us, work for Him today,

There will be open doors that come your way.

And when at setting sun you finally rest,

There will be fruit, and souls will have been blest.

Your heart will with His own “Well done” rejoice,

Because you yielded to the Master’s voice.
