Worship
“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11).
It is an absolutely certain fact that every human being ever born will, some day, bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ. Some will be forced to bow, before they are sent to a lost eternity, because of their rejection of God’s offer of salvation through the One they are forced to bow to.
Thank God, there are many who will, and do, gladly bow in true adoration and worship because He is their Lord and Savior. What a wonderful thing it is to be able to bow in worship to Jesus, the Lord of life and glory, today and thank Him for dying on Calvary’s cross.
Worship is what the Godhead desires most from redeemed hearts. The Lord said to the woman at Sychar’s well, “The hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24).
