Four Sacrifices

“Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor” (Ephesians 5:2).

“By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name” (Hebrews 13:15).

“But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased”
(Hebrews 13:16).

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).

As we consider the supreme sacrifice of the Lord Jesus at Calvary, it will create the sacrifice of praise in our hearts and on our lips, and will motivate us to sacrifice our temporal means, and to give ourselves as a living sacrifice for the Lord’s glory and for the blessing of others.
