{v.14-15} describe the manner of the Lord’s going forth, and His defense of them in the conflict....This is a vivid description of the irresistible might of Jehovah’s armies when He Himself leads them forth to battle. And it is to be observed that He will be seen over them; that is, there will be some visible tokens of His presence with His people, as there were also when He led them through the wilderness.
