Isa. 54:7‑10• 7For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8In the outpouring of wrath have I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting loving-kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer.
9For this is as the waters of Noah unto me, since I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth: so have I sworn that I will no more be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving-kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah, that hath mercy on thee.

;
Matt. 27:3‑10,12• 3Then Judas, who delivered him up, seeing that he had been condemned, filled with remorse, returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,
4saying, I have sinned in having delivered up guiltless blood. But they said, What is that to us? see *thou* to that.
5And having cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, he left the place, and went away and hanged himself.
6And the chief priests took the pieces of silver and said, It is not lawful to cast them into the Corban, since it is the price of blood.
7And having taken counsel, they bought with them the field of the potter for a burying-ground for strangers.
8Wherefore that field has been called Blood-field unto this day.
9Then was fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremias the prophet, saying, And I took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was set a price on, whom they who were of the sons of Israel had set a price on,
10and they gave them for the field of the potter, according as the Lord commanded me.
12And when he was accused of the chief priests and the elders, he answered nothing.

Acts 1:18‑19• 18(This man then indeed got a field with the reward of iniquity, and, having fallen down headlong, burst in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
19And it was known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field was called in their own dialect Aceldama; that is, field of blood.)
(Acts 1:18‑19)
a goodly.
 The Lord (speaking in Zechariah) interjects, as it were, the words, “a goodly price that I was prized at of them” words which reveal how deeply He felt His contemptuous rejection by “His own,” “Reproach,” He says in Psalm 69, “hath broken my heart,” and so here the knowledge of the goodly price at which He was “prized” wounded His soul. A goodly price indeed at which to value Him who redeemed them out of Egypt, and who had now come into their midst as Jehovah — the Saviour! (Zechariah 11 by E. Dennett)
 (Matt. 27:3-10). It will be observed again that the Lord passes over all the instrumentalities by which this prediction was accomplished. He says in Zechariah, “I” (either the Lord Himself or the prophet symbolically) (Zechariah 11 by E. Dennett)
