113. Lord Jesus, 'Tis Our Joy to Think

L.M.
1
Lord Jesus, ’tis our joy to think

Our life is so bound up with Thine,

That nothing can divide the link

Secured and fixed by love divine.
“Yet a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the Lord thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.” (1 Samuel 25:29)
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

By faith we see Thee, Lord, enthroned

At God’s right hand of power on high;

And Thy redeemèd ones, we’re owned

As one with Thee, in Thee brought nigh.
“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 1:20)
“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:17)
“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13)
