I was greatly cheered by receiving the following letter from a Chaplain in — Camp, a day or two ago: —
“Dear Sir, — One of our men has given me one of your post-cards. He had also sent one to you, and was charmed with the New Testament he received. I cannot tell you how the soldiers appreciate the gift of a neatly bound New Testament, especially on the eve of their going to the Front. I would like to have a great number of yours distributed among the men of our battalion. If you could-send me a number of post-cards I would be glad to give them to the men, who ‘would appreciate the gift of a Testament, or if you would send me the Testaments and post-cards I would have each fill a card to be seat to you. With thanks in advance, and with high appreciation of the work you are doing to give our soldiers the word of God, Yours in the Master’s service, —. —, C.F.”
