A Deformed Boy Transformed  —  Note

In our Messages of Love issue of July 15th, 1923, the author, in quoting Isa. 52:14,14As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: (Isaiah 52:14) did not intend to convey the thought that the physical sufferings of the Lord Jesus described in that verse, were the result of sin in Him. “In Him was no sin”, and there could be no physical defects or deformity in Him, the perfect and Sinless One. “His visage was so marred, more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men”, were from the sorrows and ill-usage He went through from unbelieving men.
