A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
We all appreciate getting something free, especially something we need and can use. Eternal life is the gift of God. The Lord Jesus is God’s “unspeakable gift.” The Holy Spirit is His gift, freely given to all those who put their trust in Jesus. Let’s thank God for His free gifts to us. Now, how do we make them prosper? Study the Lord Jesus in the gospels. Read about all His virtues and characteristics. Consider what He is doing for you now at God’s right hand. It will prosper you and help you grow to be like Him, and it will prosper others who see Christ in you.
