a Little While.

A LITTLE while and He will say,
Arise My love, and come away;
We at His bidding shall arise
To join Him in the open skies.
A little while, how sweet 'twill be
From every form of evil free,
With all the ransomed saints to raise
Our songs to Him through endless days.
A little while and we shall rest,
Reposing on His loving breast,
All taint of sin shall be removed,
And we shall dwell with God's Beloved.
A little while and we shall trace,
Heaven's glory light upon His face,
And dwell with Him in scenes of light,
Himself our whole, our pure delight.
A little while, blest Saviour, come,
We long to be with Thee at home,
With spirit, soul and body free
To praise throughout eternity.
