(beauty). (1) One of Lamech’s wives (Gen. 4:19¹⁹And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. (Genesis 4:19)). (2) One of Esau’s wives (Gen. 36:2,4²Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; (Genesis 36:2)
⁴And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel; (Genesis 36:4)). Called Bashemath (Gen. 26:34³⁴And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite: (Genesis 26:34)).
