Cain was very wroth.  .  .  .  Cain talked with Abel his brother.  .  .  .  Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Pent-up anger that is not dealt with will eventually explode in some form of violence. At the start Cain was jealous of Abel. This turned to anger, then to hate, and finally to murder. Lust when it is conceived brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished brings forth death - that’s what the Apostle James wrote in his letter. Young person, if you are prone to anger, get help. You must ask the Lord to help you control this emotion so that you won’t get into trouble and dishonor Him.
