Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Invite us near thy face.

When faint and trembling with alarms,
O gather us within thine arms;
Kind Shepherd, on thy gracious breast
The weakest lamb may safely rest.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

On wings of love our souls shall fly,
Nor tire amidst the heavenly road.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
~ Psalms 62:5 ~

The LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.

And far exceed your hope.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life.
~ 1 Timothy 6:12 ~
7.
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
~ Isaiah 59:19 ~
Restraining prayer, we cease to fight;
Prayer makes the Christian’s armor bright,
And Satan trembles when he sees
The weakest saint upon his knees.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
~ James 4:7 ~
8.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
~ Jeremiah 17:7 ~
Begone, unbelief, my Savior is near,
And for my relief will surely appear;
By faith let me wrestle, and he will perform;

O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long.

As the bird beneath her feathers
Guards the objects of her care,
So the Lord his children gathers,
Spreads his wings and hides them there;
Thus protected,
All their foes they boldly dare.
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
~ Psalms 17:8 ~
