While they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
The Lord’s ascension to heaven was witnessed by many of His disciples. Just as many had seen Him after He rose from the dead, so many saw Him as He was taken up into heaven. He went back to His heavenly home to wait the time when He would be able to come back and personally call us up to meet Him in the air. That day is almost upon us. We pray that each of our readers is ready for the Lord’s coming. His ascension to heaven completed His earthly work. Now in heaven, at the Father’s right hand, He is interceding for us and watching over us. There is a real man in heaven.
