A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
We cannot stress enough the importance of choosing the right friends. The Psalm writer had determined not to be friends with the wicked. You say, “But my friends aren’t wicked people.” No, they may not be, but if you are a Christian and they are not, they will affect you so that you may end up doing things that are not honoring or pleasing to the Lord. Try and be friends with other Christians. Make it a special matter of prayer that the Lord will help you find another Christian at school to be friends with.
