Wherefore look ye so sadly today?
Joseph was concerned because two of his fellow prisoners were downcast and unhappy. Joseph had every reason to be downcast himself, but he was more concerned with the well-being of others than to spend time worrying about himself. This is a wonderful example for us. There are times in each of our lives when things are difficult and discouraging. But we can always find someone else who is in a worse situation than we are. That’s the one who we need to reach out to and help.
