LUK 17:14-1614And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. (Luke 17:14‑16)
As [the lepers] went, they were cleansed. And one of them . . . turned back . . . and fell down on his face at [Jesus’] feet, giving Him thanks.

Verse 16 finishes with, “And he was a Samaritan.” Jesus healed ten lepers of their disease. Only one turned back to thank and praise the Lord Jesus for healing him. The one who thanked Him was a Samaritan, one of a race that the Jews did not associate with. Race doesn’t matter to Jesus. It doesn’t matter what your color, financial status, educational level, or social level may be. Jesus cares for you and wants to get to know you one on one.
