The ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He pondereth all his goings. (Prov. 5:21)

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Eccl. 12:13‑14)

The judgment was set, and the books were opened. (Dan. 7:10)

Death and after death the judgment    Will o’ertake you like a flood — Jesus only can avail you,    Jesus and His precious blood.

Let the story of His goodness    Change your ways and your poor heart; From the glory He descended,    Here with man to take His part.

I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me. (Psa. 40:17)

Thou, O God, hast prepared of Thy goodness for the poor. (Psa. 68:10)

There they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them. (1 Chron. 12:39)

A fullness resides in Jesus our head; A fullness abides to answer all need: The Father’s good pleasure has laid up a    store, A plentiful treasure, to give to the poor.

Whatever distress awaits us below, Such plentiful grace the Lord will bestow, As still shall support us and silence our    fear, And nothing can hurt us while Jesus is    near.

A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:34‑35)

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God. (1 John 4:7)

Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. (James 1:22)

God has given a standard of love to His own, That His children should have for each other; That as He unto us love unmeasured has    shown, We ought also to love one another.

Could we ever the marvels of that love    discern? Could we fathom the depths of His grace? Through eternity more of its riches we’ll learn, Of the One who has died in our place.
