My path may cross a waste of sea, But that need never frighten me; Or rivers full to very brim, But they are open ways to Him.

Lord, grant to me a quiet mind, That trusting Thee — I’ll always find — I may go on without a fear, For Thou, my Lord, art always near.

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Thousands have fled to His spear-pierced side: All have been welcomed, and none are denied; Weary and laden, they all have been blest; Joyfully now in the Savior they rest.

Come then to Jesus, no longer delay; Come to the Savior; come now while you may; So shall your peace be eternally sure; So shall your happiness ever endure.

Why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Rom. 14:10,12)

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Cor. 5:10)

Only one life, yes only one, Soon will its fleeting hours be done; Then, in “that day” my Lord to meet, And stand before His judgment seat — And when at last I’ll hear the call, I know I’ll say “’twas worth it all”; Only one life, ’twill soon be past; Only what’s done for Christ will last.
