Seeking of Him a sign from heaven, tempting Him. (Mark 8:11)

There shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matt. 12:39‑40)

The third day He shall rise again. (Luke 18:33)

All that blessed work is done; God’s well-pleased with His Son; He has raised Him from the dead, Set Him over all as head.

Dead and living, small and great,    Raised from the earth and sea; At His bar shall hear their fate;    In His book is their decree.

But the book of life I see;    Yes! my name is written there! Now from guilt and danger free,    Glad I’ll meet Him in the air.

Didst see the afflictions of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea.
