In much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. (Eccl. 1:18)
The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (James 3:17)
God’s heavenly fruits will not grow
   In nature’s barren soil;
All we can boast, till Christ we know,
   Is vanity and toil;
But where the Lord has planted grace
   And made His glories known,
These fruits of heavenly joy and peace
   Are found, and there alone.
