That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. (Prov. 5:2)
He that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. (1 Peter 3:10)
I want to know the language Jesus spoke,
Pure words, uncritical and ever kind;
I’d rather, by my words, the lost awoke,
Than win the applause and fame of all
   mankind.
Oh, Savior, let me daily with Thee walk;
The secret of Thy words to me confide;
Then let the world be conscious when I
   talk
That I received instruction at Thy side.
