He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7)

Likewise also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He be the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. (Matt. 27:41‑42)
Himself He could not save,
   For justice must be done;
Our sin’s full weight must fall
   Upon the sinless One;
For nothing less can God accept
In payment of that fearful debt.

Hitherto the Lord has helped us,
   Guiding all the way;
Henceforth let us trust Him fully,
   Trust Him all the day;
Hitherto the Lord has loved us,
   Caring for His own;
Henceforth resting in Him always,
   Live for Him alone.

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. (Psa. 34:13)
He that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. (1 Peter 3:10‑11)
’Tis the little word you’re led to say
   Which touched that other life,
And gave it nerve and strength again
   To conquer in the strife.
’Tis just the secret little talk
   With Jesus by the way;
That keeps you loving, true to Him
   In all you do and say.

The scorned, the despised, the rejected,
   Thou’st come to this heart of mine;
In Thy robes of eternal glory,
   Thou welcomest me to Thine.

Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath: that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. (Heb. 6:17‑19)
Oh by Thy Holy Spirit
   Reveal in us Thy love,
The joy we shall inherit
   With Thee, our Head, above;
May all this consolation
   Our trembling hearts sustain —
Sure — though through tribulation —
   The promised rest to gain.

Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And He said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. (Gen. 18:32)
Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city. (Eccl. 7:19)
Wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. (Prov. 8:11)
Poor and feeble though we be,
Saviour, we belong to Thee!
Thine we are, Thou Son of God,
Thine, the purchase of Thy blood.
Boundless wisdom, power divine,
Love unspeakable, are Thine;
Praise by all to Thee be given,
Son of God, and Heir of heaven!

He prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her FRUIT. (James 5:18)
By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the FRUIT of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Heb. 13:15)
O Lord, we know it matters not
   How sweet the song may be;
No heart but of the Spirit taught
   Makes melody to Thee.
Oh largely give; ’tis all Thine own,
   The Spirit’s goodly fruit:
Praise, issuing forth in life, alone
   Our living Lord can suit.

From the palace of His glory,
   From the home of joy and love,
Came the Lord Himself to seek us;
   He would have us there above.
And in past and distant ages,
   In those courts so bright and fair,
Ere we were, was He rejoicing,
   All He won with us to share.
