But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

“I don’t think I’m such a bad person.”
Ever heard statements like these? They’re people’s views of themselves when they compare themselves to other people. But the comparison for sinfulness must be against God’s standard. Then how do you measure up? You fall short, right? God will not compare you to anyone else, just to His Son. If you don’t measure up - you’ll miss out.
