Compassion

Listen from:
Though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies.
The Lord doesn’t enjoy it when we have to go through chastening. He allows it because of our ways, but through it all His compassion comes out. He is love. He cares for us in a way that no other can. Another verse says, “He does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.” We sometimes get into situations where the Lord chastens us. But we will always find Him at the end of the road with outstretched arms. The father, seeing the son a great way off, “ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him” (Luke 15:2020And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. (Luke 15:20)). That’s the way our heavenly Father is too.
