Whom say ye that I am? . . . Thou art the Christ.

What a confession! Peter was convinced that Jesus was the anointed One, sent from God to be the Savior of the world. How about you? You too have to respond to the Lord’s question, “Who do you say that I am?” What is your response? In order to gain entrance to heaven you must believe that Jesus is the Christ, and that He died for you on the cross at Calvary to put away your sins forever. No other confession is good enough. As the Apostle Paul says in Romans, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9⁹That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
