In 1 Timothy 6:6⁶But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6:6) we read, “Godliness with contentment is great gain.” Don’t let yourself get influenced by advertising into being constantly discontented with everything. You’ve got Nintendo? Now you have to have Super Nintendo! You’ve got a ten-speed bike? Now you’ve got to have a 15-speed mountain bike! You’ve got a great pair of blue jeans? But you’ve got to have those Calvin Kleins! Your complexion is fantastic? But it’s got to be flawless! You’re 1.3 pounds overweight? Got to lose, man, I’m fat! Satan wants us to be discontented all the time. Remember -Moses was content.
