Several are spoken of as the future reward of those who are faithful. The “crown of righteousness” is a reward to the one, who having loved his Lord’s appearing, has fought a good fight and kept the faith (
2 Tim. 4:8

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:8)
). The “crown of life” is promised by the Lord to them that love Him, as a mark of His approval of their endurance of trials (
James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12)
). The amarynth (unfading “crown of glory” is given by the Chief Shepherd to the elders who have been faithful in their care of the flock of God (
1 Peter 5:4

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. (1 Peter 5:4)
